NANCY SIMMONDS is a London, Ontario-born singer/songwriter. She has pursued her career in Canada as well as in Nashville and a long stay in California.
Nancy Simmonds has enjoyed great success as a songwriter with her songs recorded by Pop artists Alannah Myles, Melissa Manchester, Christopher Ward, etc, and by Country artists including Ricky Van Shelton, Colleen Peterson, Sylvia Tyson, Quartette, Joan Kennedy. Nancy Simmonds also co-produced the Colleen Peterson album "Postcards From California".
Nancy Simmonds has been a long-time activist for Dog Rescue efforts, and has written and recorded "Musical Tails", a collection of songs about and on behalf of Purebred dogs.
TRIVIA NOTE:- Nancy Simmonds was an original member of the award-winning group Prairie Oyster !!
